Percheron Hires Matthew Rowles as Regional Manager, Survey

Matthew Rowles 07.30.19HOUSTON, TX – July 2019 – Percheron has hired Matthew Rowles, PLS, CFS, as Regional Manager, Survey for the North Carolina partner company Percheron Survey NC, PLLC.  He will be responsible for managing survey projects and continued business development efforts for growth based in the Charlotte, NC regional office.  Matthew has 17 years of experience surveying, including 8 as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.  Matthew’s experience includes 11 years with the Engineering Division of the Town of Chapel Hill and 6 years in the civil engineering industry.

Matthew has managed projects in North and South Carolina in the residential, commercial, industrial, and health care industries, primarily in support of site development.  He also has extensive experience in the management of construction layout for projects ranging from residential development to major NCDOT roadway improvements. His responsibilities included project and budget management, supervision of field and office staff, quality control of deliverables, and maintenance of client relationships.  In 2014, Matthew achieved certification as a Certified Floodplain Surveyor (CFS) as part of a FEMA pilot program.  Certification as a CFS allows him to fast-track LOMAs and LOMRs through the FEMA approval process, turning a 6-week process into 5 business days for approval turnaround.
