Seth Mitchell is a Director/SME, Northeast – Environmental for Percheron, LLC. He has 17 years of experience in the cultural resources and environmental consulting fields.
Seth began his career as an Archaeological Field & Lab Technician. He grew to a Senior Project Manager and Principal Investigator for various projects in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast. Seth’s experience includes serving as a project manager for various projects, primarily in the energy industry, requiring federal and state permits. He was responsible for oversight of multidisciplinary teams for the completion of FERC resource reports, environmental permits, and agency consultations. He has extensive experience with SHPO consultation, and all phases of fieldwork and reporting under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
Seth holds a master’s degree in Applied Archaeology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Bloomsburg University. He is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists. Seth was the Recipient of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Young Alumni Award in 2012.
