The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Director with a wide range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department, including but not limited to: planning trade shows and other industry events, using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, and designing, creating and distributing marketing collateral.
Marketing Event Support:
- Manage logistics for various trade shows, meetings and industry events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating registrations, event supplies and needs and travel logistics.
- Coordinate sales team and end market attendance at key conferences/trade shows/industry events.
- Assist with coordinating travel for key employees.
- Coordinate with offices across the country to execute various internal employee events.
- Assist with client entertainment event management: identifying and booking events, invitation creation, attendee management and communicate logistics details with clients.
- Create event collateral as needed per event and end market focus.
- Input, maintain and report on customer data in the CRM.
Creative Design:
- Prepare and assist with the development of marketing collateral and presentations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of key marketing projects.
- Support the sales team by providing innovative marketing collateral.
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
- Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
- Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Social Media:
- Assist marketing team in creation of social media content and internal company intranet content as needed.
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Create engaging text, image and video content
- Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
- Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time and resources effectively
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline
- Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Self-starter, confident, energetic, creative and innovative
- Ability to work in a team and take direction
- Strong and Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent copywriting skills, including ability to write reports, business correspondence and presentations
- Sound understanding of the principals of marketing

- Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
