GIS Coordinator - (912)
The GIS Coordinator possesses a combination of leadership, technical skills, and above-average communication skills to build and develop GIS personnel skills, interact with clients, other business unit managers, and their staff to further the company goals of Percheron, including ensuring quality control of deliverables; training and assisting GIS personnel on procedures and protocols. The GIS Coordinator, will be responsible for the GIS Staff in your region and/or business unit. Working with the GIS Manager, the GIS Coordinator assists in managing staff attends client meetings and ensures company standards are being followed
•4-year degree in a GIS-related field preferred
•GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional) preferred
•3-5 years of GIS experience required, preferably in an oil or gas-related company
•Proficient knowledge of ESRI Arc 10. x
•Excellent knowledge of GEOAMPS data formatting/inputs.
•Proficient knowledge of office productivity software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
•Engaging leadership style with previous management experience
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
•Technology focused
•Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
•Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
•Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
•Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
•Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
