Katy, TX – April 3, 2024 – Percheron, LLC is pleased to announce the promotions of Lauren Jones and Lori Cox to Managing Directors.
Since joining Percheron in 2019, Lauren Jones has led various land acquisition projects for electric distribution, renewable natural gas, and telecommunication industries as a Program Manager. Her expertise includes site acquisition and negotiating for major telecommunication carrier projects, municipal permitting, document preparation, title research, and acquiring power distribution easements on behalf of leading power companies. From right-of-way acquisition to project management, Lauren excels in every aspect of the industry, managing multiple 100+ mile projects in various stages from onset to completion.
With a Bachelor's degree from Lenoir Rhyne University, Lauren also holds her NC Real Estate Broker License and is an active member of the IRWA.

Lori Cox brings over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Her expertise includes project management, land valuation, title examination, mineral rights management, lease negotiations, due diligence, and curative. As a Vice President of Land and Legal for an oil and gas land services company, Lori has extensive experience managing varying-size drill site programs, from title and leasing to curative and due diligence.
Lori will be focusing her efforts on the Renewable Natural Gas market and helping to build Percheron’s footprint. Justin Lyon, Managing Partner, noted that “Percheron is excited to promote Lori into this role. Her background and experience in project management, negotiations, complex title, and strategic valuation will be valuable assets in consulting with RNG clients. Her MBA and Certificate of Sustainable Energy and ESG are excellent credentials for operating in the emerging RNG market.”
While working as a landman and title agent in the Permian Basin with Percheron, Lori completed her Energy MBA at Texas Christian University, with a Certificate in Sustainable Energy and ESG. Additionally, she is a member of the Percheron ESG Committee.
