Electrical Designer III - (1952)
Engineering CAD Designer III is responsible for producing project deliverables for transmission and distribution pipelines (FERC and state regulated), regulating and metering stations, natural gas well pads, compressor stations, gas processing, pump stations, and other types of midstream engineering projects. Designer III will assist Discipline Lead and Project Managers in processing and QA/QC of all discipline deliverables. They assist with project setup, scheduling, and deliverables.
•Under the direction of the design lead, develop working drawings within company and industry standards and codes, from equipment specifications and detailed drawings.
•Work will include checking, redline markup and revision to deliverables as directed by the design leads.
•Direct, collaborate and assist other project designers on meeting project deadlines.
•Assist and mentor less experienced designers
•Other duties as assigned
•10+ years CAD work experience. BS degree or advanced certification preferred.
•Demonstrates progressive degrees of skill and responsibility
•Theoretical and practical engineering background required
•Proficiency in 2D & 3D AutoCAD software
•Proficiency in industry standards and codes
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Experience developing CAD standards and training others on utilization of such
•Ability to work autonomously, collaborate fully as a team player and direct work.
•Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
•Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
•Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
•Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
