Mark Clayton is a Managing Director for Percheron, LLC, with over 15 years of experience in the energy industry supporting midstream operations, acquisitions, and infrastructure development.
Mark began his career in the field as an Independent Landman, providing title research, due diligence, and land services support for oil and gas projects. During this time, he led title teams and supported acquisitions, divestitures, and development efforts across multiple projects.
Mark later joined a large-scale midstream infrastructure company, where he advanced through a series of leadership roles in land. He most recently served as Project Manager, Land, where he led land support for capital projects, overseeing timelines, stakeholder coordination, and the integration of land systems and agreements for major acquisitions and joint ventures. He also managed cross-functional coordination with legal, engineering, and operations teams to support project delivery and ongoing asset management.
Mark is an active member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and participates in the Pipeline Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas Tech University.
