Jeff Trlicek is a Managing Partner for Percheron, LLC. He brings over 29 years of experience in the energy industry. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Percheron.
Jeff has extensive experience working in title insurance, mineral title, lease acquisition, geophysical permitting, renewable project development, and project management of large-scale energy projects, responsible for hundreds of projects across numerous end markets. Starting in 2012, he served as Vice President of the Energy division for Percheron, a position he held until April 2020, when he was named Managing Partner of Renewables.
Jeff's career in the energy industry began with his South Central Texas family-owned title insurance business. After several years in title insurance, he moved into the land service industry specializing in mineral title, lease acquisition, and geophysical permitting. With this experience, Jeff became a project manager with Portman, Fleniken & McCall, managing large-scale upstream projects throughout the lower 48. In 2003, he became a partner in OGM Land, responsible for hundreds of projects across numerous end markets. His land services experience consists of upstream, midstream, geophysical, hard minerals, and renewable energy, to name a few.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Jeff has worked on 300+ solar, wind, and battery storage projects in the renewable energy sector and truly understands what it takes to make a successful project. His innovative approach and keen eye for detail guarantee efficient and sustainable solutions, providing vital support throughout each stage of a project’s lifecycle.
Jeff is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), is a Registered Petroleum Landman (RPL), a member of the Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen (HAPL), and serves on many boards and committees throughout his local community.
