Rick Corman

Rick Corman is a Managing Director for Percheron, LLC, with 15 years of experience in the energy industry.

Rick began his career as a field Landman with Mason Dixon Energy in the Appalachian Basin, performing surface title, mineral title, and negotiating surface agreements.  Rick established the Mason Dixon Regional office in Denver in 2011, subsequently performing and managing due diligence, right of way title and acquisition, and BLM mineral title projects throughout the Rockies Region. He previously served as General Manager, Central–Energy, overseeing all operations in the Central Region, including the Permian, Delaware, Scoop/Stack, DJ, Powder River, Green River, San Juan, and Bakken basins.

Rick was a Naval Communications Specialist in the US NAVY prior to entering the Oil & Gas Industry. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Denver Association of Petroleum Landman (DAPL), the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen (WAPL), the Permian Basin Landman Association (PBLA) and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter (MLBC). Rick previously served as the Co-Chair of the Landman 500 committee for the DAPL and as Membership Committee Chair and Executive board member for the MLBC.  He earned his RPL certification through the AAPL.

Vincent Caruso

Vincent Caruso is a Managing Director for Percheron, LLC, with 19 years of industry experience. He has provided consulting services for, managed, and directed all land-related aspects of complex land identification, development and acquisition projects, multistage operational exploration and production projects, and acquisition & divestiture projects in the Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, and Hard Mineral sectors throughout the nation for clients ranging from small startups to industry-leading Fortune 100 companies.

Vincent assisted in the creation and design of the renewable energy group. His responsibilities include serving clients seeking to site, develop, and manage projects across the solar, wind, and battery storage sectors. In addition, Vincent is responsible for the management protocols and operational effectiveness across all renewable energy projects.

Vincent earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond, where he spent time studying international shipping and property law at Emmanuel College at Cambridge University and was inducted into the Order of Barristers upon graduation.

Upon graduation from law school, he worked at an admiralty and maritime law firm in Florida, representing clients involved in producing and transporting offshore oil and gas and responding to maritime oil spills.

Vincent has provided interviews and analysis on various topics pertaining to the renewable energy transition, has published articles in industry periodicals regarding the globalization of domestic natural gas markets, and has hosted or participated in moderated discussion panels at several industry events.

He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), where he is the past Chairman of the Education Committee. He earned his RPL certification through the AAPL.

Kevin Watkins

Kevin Watkins is a Managing Director for Percheron, LLC, with 25 years of industry experience.

He began his landman career as an independent contractor with Portman, Fleniken, and McCall in 1996. He has worked for the organization through the transitions to OGM Land Company and Percheron. Kevin has been exposed to almost all aspects of work required of the “field landman.”  He has worked in multiple states, supervising runsheets, curative, and due diligence acquisitions. Kevinmost recently held the position of Director, Permian Basin – Energy, overseeing projects throughout the Permian Basin and surrounding areas. 

Kevin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Permian Basin Landman’s Association (PBLA). He earned his CPL certification through the AAPL.

Harry Heinbaugh

Harry Heinbaugh is a Managing Director for Percheron, LLC. He previously served as Director, Northeast - Field Services, managing and overseeing multiple large-scale transmission, municipality, and public transportation projects for all clients in the Northeast Region.

Harry has 13 years of industry experience, with expertise in project management, title curative, Oil & Gas lease acquisition, field inspections, document preparation, and contract negotiation. He joined Percheron in 2008, previously as a Broker and contract Project Manager. Harry held the position of Project Manager – Energy, managing all curative, certified title, and lease title projects through the Appalachian region. He has over 26 years of experience in management, purchasing, and business analysis. 

Harry received a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University and is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Michael Late Benedum Chapter (MLBC), the International Right of Way Association (IRWA), the Pittsburgh Right of Way Association (PITROW), and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Harry currently serves as the Sponsorship Committee Chair for the MLBC. He earned his RPL certification through the AAPL.

Jeff Wilkie

Jeff Wilkie is Director - Survey, GIS, and UAS for Percheron, LLC. He has over 26 years of surveying experience, with 18 years of project coordination and management. Jeff served as Project Coordinator for some of the largest pipeline projects in the country. 

Jeff is experienced in many types of land surveying projects, including preliminary surveys, construction staking, and final as-built for various oil and gas projects, as well as topographic, engineering design, route surveys for states and counties, ALTA/ACSM Land Title, boundary, chemical plant surveys, and refinery surveying. He is experienced in coordinating and managing multiple field crews, safety personnel, project data, CAD drawings, and as-built deliverables on small- and large-scale projects in the pipeline, electric, E&P, and transportation industries.   

Jeff implements company and client quality control measures during the project to ensure project success. Jeff holds a Level 1 sUAS Thermography license and is an FAA - Certified sUAS Pilot.

Larry Smith

Larry Smith, RPLS is a Project Director, Survey, with 45+ years of industry experience.  He joined Percheron in May 2011, previously as a Senior Project Manager.  Larry received an Associate’s Degree from San Jacinto Junior College and is an active member of the Texas Society of Professional Land Surveyors.  He is an RPLS in Texas.

Michael Tripp

Michael Tripp, RPLS is a Project Manager - Survey, with 21+ years of industry experience.  He joined Percheron in March 2008, previously as a Project Manager.  Michael has past experience working on high dollar survey/engineering projects on the East Coast and abroad. With Percheron he has had emphasis on E&P in the Oil and Gas industry.  Michael received a Bachelor’s Degree in Cartography and Photogrammetry from Southwest Texas State University.  He is an active member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.  Michael is a licensed surveyor in TX, NM, AZ, NV and CO.
